What would life be like without Art? It can challenge, heal and shape our thoughts. I love to explore concepts and emotions through art; unravelling or encapsulating the things I am working on in life as I create. Since 2014 I have been predominantly painting and sketching birds as a way of understanding my own feelings of fragility, frustration, hope and freedom.
I am a teacher by trade and love empowering others with skills and beliefs to be their most creative and expressive version of themselves through making and understanding art.
In 2003 I completed a Bachelor in Fine Art at the National Art School, Darlinghurst, and a Graduate Diploma in Education the following year. I have held three solo exhibitions and exhibit regularly alongside other artists. Making art and seeing beauty around and in me are a part of my daily life that I love to share with my family and friends. Helping others to see beauty in themselves and in every day life brings me great joy.
