Master of Arts student Douglas McDonald is a Melbourne-based photographer inspired by the textures, wildlife, flora, and rustic beauty of Australia's rural landscapes. Growing up as a kid on a farm, Douglas expresses his love for life, nature and all creatures great and small who clap in glory to a higher presence, through his deep connection with light and movement.
His landscape and wildlife compositions are captured with a Sony Alpha 6 and all of his framed works are upcycled. Douglas donates a percentage of his sales to Benwerren, a local charity supporting women and children who are in need of safe respite.
