This workshop will be offered on three different days.
Saturday 23rd May 1-4pm
Sunday 14th June 1-4pm
Friday 5th June 6-9pm
Gabby is an experienced artist with a focus on incorporating mindfulness with creativity. These in session, Gabby will guide you through creating a lantern in preparation for the Winter Solstice and possibly the Belgrave Lantern Parade in June. This is a very popular event in Belgrave and further information can be found here: https://www.dandenongrangespoint.com.au/events/belgrave-lantern-parade/
There are 3 sessions in total. You can attend 1, 2 or 3 - this may depend on the size lantern you wish to make.
Materials are provided HOWEVER, it would be wonderful if you could bring some contributions such as:
- beautiful sticks and twigs and other natural items (leaves, grasses, flowers - especially if dried?!)
- light paper (tissue, handmade, anything kind of see through!)
- light materials to possibly add to the lantern (ribbon, cord, twine etc.)
Focus on re-using materials to fit into the approach of the session.
$85 per session OR
$240 for all three
If this class has sold out, please email us about being placed on a waiting list at kapiartspace@gmail.com.
