Karly Michelle is a mixed media artist and who recently completed a PhD researching a biography program that is offered by a palliative care organisation. She is interested in the meeting place of personal stories, spirituality and creativity, and in art that is an exploration and expression of feelings. She often creates out of a need for a restful and reflective creative practice, exploring the experience of chronic ill-health and regularly incorporates repetition. Karly lives and works on Wurundjeri land and is the new director of Kapi Art Space.
