This workshop provides the opportunity for participants to explore LINE CHARACTER, beginning with making your own unique tools for drawing using a variety of natural & found materials.  Large scale drawing to develop LINE, TEXTURE and TONE, learning to layer & build DEPTH & complexity into the drawing using a variety of media including ink, charcoal, conte, wash, pencil, pen & texta will be undertaken using both traditional drawing tools as well as some of the tools made on the first day of the workshop.

n this workshop you will learn how to draw & paint flowers from life using coloured pencils & watercolour paints. First, you will explore the foundational skills of gestural drawing to gain an understanding of the ‘essence’ of the flowers you are observing.
